After my Five Element Retreat I felt very relaxed. In particular the ila Ku Nye Body Ritual was very well administered and I kept nodding off several times. It was really great for stress relief and muscles are grateful. Really great day.

Excellent and deeply relaxing day, just what I needed!  Hannah was great,- discreet yet friendly and has an excellent touch/technique, firm but gentle. One of the best pairs of hands I have encountered! Thank you. To heighten the pampering it would be nice if the therapist could apply the salt scrub as its difficult to do own back

Bliss Break
Very relaxing, very caring and attentive staff! Feel completely destressed which was the aim. Loved the razul and hydro spa, felt great to relax and spend time together without the usual life stresses.


Areas we could improve on: 
If I had to mention anything it would be that I felt a little cool in the treatment room, but this is not a complaint just personally I would have liked it a bit warmer.

We sometimes overheat the therapy rooms  - the beds are heated and the fleece Blankets are doubled for your comfort  If you have been in the Steam Razul and Hydro Spa the body takes time to re-adjust. The Mackintosh Room which is normally the one which gets very warm. My apologies I have been concerned about overheating guests and suggested we do not overheat this room.  We will discuss room temperature at the next team meeting.

Had a lovely relaxing day where the world stopped and I got off and had some quality me time and pampering. All the staff are very friendly and willing to help. The treatments are of a high quality.Lunch was beautiful , it was the best valentines present I could ask for!!

Steam Room to start with was beautiful with the ila salt and the Kundalini Massage was subline.  Feeling really relaxed, and will be making another appointment.

As a Spa it is the best Spa Day so far.  The Therapist should be happy as I think her job today was really, really good.  All very friendly.  I can't think of anything to make the expereince any better.

Three Night Welness Break January 2013

We had a very relaxing and lovely Spa Break, with incredible massage and long peaceful soaks in the Hydro Pool. The standard of service was very high and we were incredibly well looked after. It felt like our own private spa and we leave hoping to return one day! For those who are pregnant, the Ila Pregnancy Massage is particularly recommended.

I came here for my birthday with my husband.  We had personal attention from the start.  It was really lovely to have private use of the Hydro Spa and Steam Room.  Melissa did my massage and facial and my she was so expert!!!  I did not want it to end.  I came to relax and destress and thats what I did.

PS as an improvement it could be warmer in the general areas but that may just be my preference.

Thank you for your lovely feedback.  We are still working on getting the general temperature in the spa correct.  We have just installed new eco heaters which are set to maintain an ambient warmth. However when you come out of heat treatments the difference is noticeabble in some of the general areas.  We are looking to change the profile of the heating so it comes on earlier which we hope will make a difference.   The treatment rooms are well heated and we have heated massage beds, we have increased the heat in the bottom changing room since you gave us your feedback.

Such a lovely expereince would definatley recommend the Ritual Treatment.

At one point I imagined my Therapist, Hannah, was magic as heat seemed to orginate in her fingers.  Such was her dexterity I only realised later the hot stones were being used. The Wise Woman Tea and chocolate certainly woke me up.

Thank you for your feedback - We accept your comment about the massage pressure and we discussed this.  This resulted in and updated massage routine. Therapists will be checking more often with guests about pressure - some guests like firm and others not so firm so we are working as a team to get this exactly as you require.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my visit to your beautiful, exclusive boutique. As soon as you walk through the door you enter a place of tranquillity and wellness.

Because it is a small, homely spa you are looked after individually which makes the experience so exceptional. You’re a dealt with on a personal level which to me is 5 star service all by itself, plus the fact that Lisa and her team are so fantastic and friendly! 

The Hydro Spa and Herbal Steam room are amazing, beautifully kept, extremely private and very relaxing. The lunch was beautiful. So fresh and organic you didn’t feel naughty for eating it, even the fruit with the chocolate dip!

Lydia (who is fantastic at what she does) performed my Ila Spa Kundalini Back Treatment. I was literally in heaven. It is by far the best treatment I have ever had. Every movement is so delicate it makes you feel amazing from the inside out. It doesn’t just affect your body but it relaxes your mind and takes you away from all the stresses of everyday life. I would recommend this treatment and the Ila Spa products over many other treatments and products I have experienced. It is not mainstream so you feel extremely special being pampered in it!

If only the spa was not so far away I would be there all the time! For any locals in the area or people looking for a relaxing day to themselves or with friends it is the perfect place to go.

The most perfect birthday surprise, a day of total relaxation. We felt extremely well looked after on a personal level. The food was fantastic as was the glass of champagne in the Hydro Spa.
